Chevrolet Makes Good on Availability of Sporty & Stylish Redline Series Following Concept Sneak-Peak at 2015 SEMA Show

Chevrolet revealed some very exciting news at the Chicago Auto Show on Friday: the introduction of its hotly-anticipated Redline series, the broadest cross-portfolio special edition ever offered by Chevy.

Stand-out features on all Redline vehicles include black wheels with distinct red hash marks, black nameplates with a red outline, blacked-out grilles and black Chevy bowtie logos. Taking fine details to the extreme to meet customer satisfaction, the Redline vehicles also feature specific design elements tailored to Chevy enthusiasts’ preferences. For example, the Silverado and Colorado Redlines feature red tow hooks, while Camaro Redline features unique black hash marks above the wheels, a design cue taken from Chevy’s long heritage in motorsports.

Redline made its debut in concept form at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Encouraged by a strong positive reception, Chevrolet has now expanded Redline across nine of its most popular vehicles, including the Camaro LT/SS (coupe and convertible), the Cruze LT (sedan and hatchback), Malibu LT, Trax LT, Equinox LT, Traverse Premier, Colorado LT and the Silverado Double Cab LT Z71 and Crew Cab LTZ Z71.

‘Based on the strong interest Redline attracted at SEMA, we believe they will be very popular with customers.’

“The SEMA show has proven to be a great way to identify customization trends in the industry, and quickly apply those trends to our most popular Chevrolet models,” says Brian Sweeney, VP of Chevrolet’s U.S. division. “Based on the strong interest Redline attracted at the show, we believe they will be very popular with customers looking for standout cars, trucks, and crossovers.”

Silverado Redlines are the first available for purchase. Orders are already being accepted at Chevrolet dealerships nationwide. All Redline vehicles will be available for purchase by the end of 2017.
