2000 chevy truck serpentine belt chirping.
Hi everyone this is my first post here!
Anyway I have a 2000 Silverado with the 4.8L V8. About 2 months ago I changed the power steering pump on my truck and shortly after that I noticed the belt chirping, thinking that I may have gotten power steering fluid on the belt I have since replaced it but the noise still persists.
If anyone has any idea of what may be causing this or prior experience with this problem your feedback is greatly appreciated.

with the engine idling, spray brake cleaner on the belt...if the noise goes away briefly, its the belt. test the a/c belt also.
if a dab of engine sealant rtv on the ribbs of the belt make the noise go away, its the belt.
make sure the tensioners move smoothly
do not use aftermarket belts...get a/c delco
the other possibility is a worn pulley; listen to each pulley with a mechanics stethoscope with the engine running. take the belt off and spin each pulley. if one sounds rough, replace it.
