Hi guys and gals.
I have only one Chevy, but it is my moneymaker. I se it everyday for work. So here is my question.
Yesterday I got a CEL with Reduced Power on the display. The truck had no ass what so ever. Took it to a dealer in Jackson, MS and after a day of it sitting there, I was told that code P2138 is just a history code and they cant diagnose off of a history code. After talking to my brother who is a service manager at a Chevy dealer, I was told it is a APP, Accelarator Pedal Posisition sensor issue.
Is there any reason why the dealer in Jackson could not use the same information to fix my truck?
