Hi all,

I have a GMC Vandura 5.7l, K engine, 1992. It has developed a gearbox problem. When driving, 1st & 2nd gears are perfect (changes smoothly) but when it tries to change to 3rd, it just revs as if in neutral and will not change to 3rd or 4th. When I ease off of the gas, it drops back into 2nd. Have adjusted the TV cable but just the same. Any thoughts? All advice greatly appreciated.
