Hello all,

DS headlamp went out about a week ago on the wife's Noxand have not had time to get it to a shop for replacement. As a do it yourself kinda guy, i hated this idea. I've replaced many a headlight in my day. Well, tonight the PS light blew. I bought new lamps for it and popped the hood. Thought, no big deal, bing bang boom, I'll be done.

WTF! How in the world do you get access to these lamps? So much stuff packed in tight. Now its Friday night and we got no headlights. Off to my fathers cold barn in the morning to try to figure this out. I cant imagine how much "labor" would cost to have a dealer/shop do this.

Has anyone done this themselves and could you give me heads up on how its done?

Thank you,

Pat

PS- We have the same overstarting problem some of you report. Other than that, the truck has been hassle free and we love it.

Never done it on an Equinox, but if you look around for clips, slides, pins, nuts, etc. you can figure it out. You may have to take the grille off. That should just pull off.

It shows in your manual how to do it. It is alot of work just to change light bulbs!

Took mine to the dealership. 15 minutes. They only charged me $18. Well worth it to me.
