hi i've a '79 Z-28 and i have put a 402 built to 400-420h.p.. my quetion is about front suspension. the car is in great mechcanical condition. am i going to be alright with this small block suspension? if not, which components would be most important to replace? and which brand of equipment would YOU recommend? this is a street car that does 12.3 in the 1/4 with no changes from street to track. this thing corners pretty good, however i noticed there is no sway bar on rear suspension. by adding a sway bar do you think i will feel a difference street driving? is this crucial?

thank you y13supio

you would probly notice less body roll in the corners with the sway bar. as for the front you might be better off with after market brakes just to hall that bigger waight of the B B douwn and mabey slightly heveier shocks other then that you should be ok. does it have a sway bar in front?

As with the brand, it would be better to have an OEM Chevy Camaro (http://www.chevroletforum.com/m_2833/tm.htm) replacements for you to ensure that it is properly matched with your car's specs and configurations.
