I found this small cruise module that is mounted to the dash via double sided tape. 160 bucks. All looks good on the reviews and all but can you guys share your oppinions and you think it'll work on my cobalt 07?

that module will not work. It uses a module under the hood to pull the throttle open. Your car has an electronic throttle control.
check this module out....its close to the same price and looks much better. It uses an RF switch so you can mount it to the steering wheel without running wires.
The only downfall is having to get it programmed at the dealer. It ony takes about 10 mins to program it so it shouldn't be much.
