My wife told me there is a recall on her HHR. Anyone heard anything on that?

Year model? I know there was a recall about the airbags. It only applies to those with the leather seat covers.

Recalled defect:
Certain vehicles originally built with cloth seats that were equipped with an automatic air bag passenger sensing system and later reupholstered with aftermarket leather seat cover kits are involved. Testing has indicated that the aftermarket leather seat covers can cause the passenger sensing system to malfunction.

07-I found that if you dont have side airbags it does not meet fed crash standards and GM plans on putting some sort of absorbing bar in the headliner???? That is concerning!

whew.... that definately is something to be concerned about.
