we had 3-m tape applied to the impact area in front of the rear wheels on the fenders after the 90 day wait for the dealer repaint (tsb 06-08-51-002b Oct.07) to cure on our Cardinal Red 06 HHR.
this should cure the paint chipping and does not affect the lines of the HHR.:) To bad GM did not send out a recall notice on this problem, I was lucky the HHR still had 3 months factory coverage still on the HHR when I bought it[:@]
