I have a huge play in my steering wheel.

Sorry guys, more info:
97 Astro 2X4 with 122K miles. I got a huge play in the steering wheel. I changed the tie rods and same issue.

Also my ign will not turn all the way back to pull the key out, it's stuck in position 1 leaving the (P R D 3 2 1) light on, killing the batter in a day or two. What is causing that problem.
