I washed my car last night and noticed i have 3-4 dark red spots on my truck hood. I believe it is blood from bugs. I tried bug and tar remover to get it out and that did not work. Can anyone offer another cleaning product that might work?

The best thing is to scrub them off while washing. It may take a while with your wash sponge/brush, but its the best way to get them off. Then just keep the buggy areas coated with wax and use detailer on those areas after every wash. That will make them a lot easier to get off in the future.

This seems to be an old post... but Claybar works great for lifting crap out of paint. Its cheap and easy to use.
I claybar my entire car once a year.
