This car is being a handful and hopefully this is the last head scratcher.

1993 Cavalier Headlights........when I start the car, the daytime running lights come on fine and bright. When I turn the lights on, the light on the drivers side goes dim and when I hit the highbeams, it gets dimmer. The passenger side functions properly. The bulbs were purchased yesterday and I didn't get cheap ones.

Does anyone have a remote idea as to what is causing this?[:@]

i would try replacing the headlight socket and see if that helps.

Found that one to!! Relay for the daytime running lights.

It was free so a little cash in it won't hurt.
