Does anyone have any recomendations to replace a stock am/fm delco with cassette to a drop in am/fm cd? or should I just go to any audio store and look at the options?

thanks

mostly its personal prefrence. just remeber when you do replace your deck to get the factory wire plug in at the same time it will save tons of time and frustration. when you pull the stock deck you plug in the harnece and you can wire that to the new deck and just plug it in then if you decide to put the stock one back in you just have to plug it in. hope that helps

The top 3 brands are Alpine, Elipse, and Pioneer.

Stay away from crappy ones like Sony, Pyle, etc.

Make sure you get the wiring harness adapter, antenna adapter, and cd mount kit.

You should buy a Mcintosh MX406. I think MSRP is something like 1300 bucks. :D

ha! doubtful, the truck itself aint worth much more then that well maybe ($5k). I may look at that for my Mercedes HK replacement though.. [&:]

for the S10 maybe a a couple hundred bucks to get CD and some decent speakers and some sound for it.
