I want to talk about cars so I hope I came to the right place. right now I would like to know if anyone knows what year manufactures started putting seatbelts in cars, more specifically chevies. </FONT>

i believe that they became standard in corvettes in the 1960s, so it was probablt the same general time for most GM products
