THANKS FOR ANY INFO Nomad76lj 08-29-2006, 09:35 AM not worh the time to put it on. 2000_BLACK_SS 08-30-2006, 10:45 PM NOMAD WHAT TYPE OF CARS HAVE YOU PUT ONE ON Nomad76lj 08-30-2006, 10:52 PM i have never used one on any car. other ppl on the bourd have used them with no efect on the horspower of the motor at all.if i an find the thred i will post it here later. kcb37 08-31-2006, 07:16 PM I have never used one myself but a friend of mine, (keep in mind it's a different dngine) Said he got one for his 2000 Silverado with a 4.8 V8 and said it helped his gas mileage. I don't remeber if he thought he got more power or not. uncle bill 09-01-2006, 03:08 PM I've got one on My '93 4x4 Pickup. It did seem to help a little with performance but I raelly saw a honest 1/2 mpg gain. not bad for 30 bucks. dbz7197 05-16-2008, 03:38 AM I got a 91 c1500 extended cab p/u. I put a Air Raid spacer on it, and did notice better fuel mileage and better torque to tow. I also run full synthetic oil, K&N air filter, and NGK spark plugs and that really improved everything. The reason i use NGK spark plugs is because my brother had a 66 Chevelle that had a small block 406 in it and he kept fowling out other plugs and someone told him to try those and he never replaced another. I also used them in my motorhome and they worked great with the 454 big block. dbz7197 05-16-2008, 03:42 AM Can anyone tell me what i need to convert the reardrum brakes on my 96 Lumina LS to disc brakes? I heard you could go to the junk yard and get the parts off a Monte Carlo to do it. Thanks. EvansBlue 05-16-2008, 10:04 AM Come on dude. Make you a new thread in the Monte Carlo section about your brakes and make a new thread and post about your truck in the Silverado section. |
