I am curious to hear a few stories, and while I am asking I will start with a few. But what is the stupidest thing you have done or had happen to a car/pickup.
Since I said I will start here goes.
One day a friend of mine had a 87 Camaro and I was trying to take out a spark plug, I couldn't see it so I felt for it, found it and took it out. When I said oh s@#t he was like what what, I took out a exhaust manifold bolt and he just laughed at me.
I have a 49 1/2 ton ford pickup. At the time I wish I knew this. I was at a junkyard one day just to see if they had anything I could use as I want to restore it. Mine is an F-1 I found a tailgate on a F-3 so I was happy I finally have a tailgate. Later that night after cleaning the rust off of one side I found out that the F-2 and F-3 tailgates are bigger so now I have a tailgate I can't use and still need one.
I also have a 91 Sonoma that I occasionaly offroad. One day I ended up on a ATV trail with only one way to go, I slid into a tree and completely smashed the door along with a little of the front fender and the box. But I still think the expression on my friends face when his window broke is still priceless.
For all of you that don't want to add or think you don't have anything to add to this I will also add that no one is immune to this.
Have fun and read a few stories.

so many stories where to start? my budy and i bought a ford broco 2 it was a real peice. i was using it to push around my durby car one day when i desided that the best way would be to open the tailgate and put the strap though the rear window and around the hatch, well now i know the hatch on those trucks are mostly fiberglass and not ment to pull a chevette out of a feild. so we jumped it in the feild for a bit then sold it for 25 dollers. another crap eild car we bought from a field for 100$s it was a 74 pontiac venura with a 350 big block in it. we took it home andwere driving it around the house when the full exaust fell off and we drove over it. then right after that the back bummper fell half off so we chained it to a tree to pull the other half off. so we put the car on a ashfalt pad put ia tree sump infront of the front wheel (it had no brakes) and didf a big ass burnout till we blew the back tires off it then drove it into a river with water up to the doors! the end for that car. that should be enuf for now but i have lots more like that. aahh to be young again.

My first car was a '55 Chevy 210. I was really new to driving and wasn't too sure of distance judgement. I went over to My Uncle Eddies' house and He had a long driveway that went between 2 houses. Well, I guess it had been built back in the 1920's and the driveway was made for Model "T" width cars. Well, I guess You can figure out what happened. I drove between the houses and got My car wedged between th houses. It was too wide and I coundn't back out.

I used to have an F350 CC, diesel and I had to plug it every night in the winter. I cannot tell you how many times I blindly wandered out to the truck early in the morning, started it up, and took off with the truck still plugged in. One time I drove all the way to work with the extension cord in tow.

the dumbest thing I did was sell my 89 ramcharger. I miss it and it hurts to see it around my neighborhood here and there.
