I have a 1995 Impala SS. I want to race it locally at a track we have here in Florida. My question is, should I stay with my 5.7 LT1 engine or swap it with a Chevy 454? Which one has the most power?

The big block would make more power especially in the torque department...

Is it a noticeable difference? apporoximately how much hp/tor? is there any bigger(powerful) engines than the 454?

yeah there are some gm crate motors that can rip the rear end off that impala if you want but it takes cash....get yourself a superchevy magazine, it gives you tons of listings and prices on the best crates out there...

If you got the cash than you could swap in the big block and throw money in it.

It all comes down to money and what you can afford. I've seen 800hp supercharged LT1's and than I've seen 2,000hp twin turbo big blocks. It's all about money.

But both motors have potential to make BIG power.
