Thanks Tahoe07. It's an Optra Sedan here in the Philippines. AVEO here are only the hatchback type. But i think they're now coming out with those sedan type. I'm really having a hard time looking for parts for this car because i think this was only released in Asia Pacific. Any suggestions where i can look for parts for this car?
TIA.

Now that we know it's an AVEO, you should try the portion of this site that is dedicated to them. The guys there will be able to help you out. Just let them know what you are looking for - aftermarket stuff to fix it up or parts to repair it.

That is NOT an Aveo. That car looks identical to what Suzuki is selling under the Forenza nameplate in the U.S. The Aveo is smaller, and does not have the rear quarter window behind the rear doors. A look at the Chevrolet European site should shed some light on what nameplate they are selling the car under.

Yeah that looks like it. But now i'm confused where to look - would it be under chevrolet or suzuki? I know both are from GM, right?

a word of advice regarding which car manufacturer to look towards for parts. in the past, with the Firefly, even though the car was made by Suzuki Motor Company of Canada (name plate right on the firewall) u had a snowballs chance in hell of getting parts for your Chevy from Suzuki. even though the car was virtually identical to a Suzuki Swift, most Suzuki dealers would not sell u the parts-even if u knew the part #'s u needed. i'm not saying this is still the case & hopefully u don't run into this problem, but b prepared for this to happen. good luck.

If this is a Euro car, then look up the Chevy European site. The mid and high line Daewoos are only sold under the Suzuki banner in the U.S.

GM and Suzuki are not a merged entity. GM does have a sizeable quantity of Suzuki stock, enabling them some say in what they sell.
