well , as some of you may now know , i have sold the mustang and moved on to a truck http://www.winnipegheights.com/forums/images/smilies/1/beigeyes.gif border= its a 1990 chevy silverado , short box regular cab , as is rite now the thing has a 305 , and yes, its gutless. for the winter i considered the idea of buying a motor and fixing it up over the winter to have it dropped into the truck for the spring.. NOW , my only question is , what kind of motor should i be looking for?> and is it possible to find a nice motor that also wont kill my wallet at the same time?

Your best bet is a 350. Depends on what you want to spend, but theres so many parts for that engine and you can build pretty reasonably.
