I have a 1996 Cavalier with 123K on it and lately it has been increasingly difficult to start. I can turn the ignition to accessory and let the fuel pump churn for 2-3 seconds, and then turn it over, which usually works fine. But if I get in and start cranking right away, she gets real hesitant to fire. The problem is especially bad in colder weather, which is right around the corner here in upstate NY. My initial thoughts are ignition module or fuel pump? Sound familiar to anyone?

Thanks.

causes of hard starting could be injector leak. You can also try tuning it up, with fresh spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. This may solve the problem
