Patrick 11-28-2005, 04:56 PM 500 bucks for my truck..i was hoping that it would last me a winter, and its been 4 years. pursang 11-30-2006, 06:53 AM Mine was a 1971 Torino GT Fastback 429SCJ 4spd w factory Hurst shifter, factory in dash tach and rare factory rev limiter. paid $ 600.00 RAT454 12-01-2006, 10:45 AM I assembled the bottom end of a 350 chevy, he provided all the parts, (and beer) He helped and did most of the work. I just told him what to do... In return he gave me a 1974 monte carlo SS minus engine and tranny..swivil seats and a near new paint job....opened the trunk and found a new in the box holly blue pump, a used but good 3310 750 holley carb and a slightly used BBC performer rpm mainafold.. I found out later that he got the car from a guy that had stuffed a big block t-400 with a 9 inch ford in it and street raced it...he decided to move up to a different car and pulled all the stuff and throw in a 10 bolt.... I think I made out OK.... Gapp 12-02-2006, 12:27 PM LOL! My wife!!! wolfman 12-02-2006, 02:39 PM My '97 Ford F150. It appraised at a bit over $5,000 when I bought it, and I only paid $2177 for it. All it needed was an oil and tranny fluid change. I've touched nothing else. It's an obscene color of orange, but that just means that it's easier to find in a parking lot. EvansBlue 11-04-2007, 08:10 PM My Blazer. Got it from my uncle in September of 05. 2000 modelProblem-free. 59000 miles at the time. Garaged. Waxed monthly. Fresh tires(at the time). $6000. Spent about $1000 on upgrades. Iowa91CamaroRS 11-22-2007, 05:16 AM I bought my camaro for $550 and it ran and everything, but had been hit by a deer on the driver side, but we got the donor car for free from my dad's friend so the hood and fender we're simple to get off...so it'll be nice when my dad has it all painted and shined up....and i drop the 400 small block in but there's also an 86 Z28 i'm looking at, it's already painted, geared up, and all it needs is a motor....for $1000 so i might paint my 91 RS and sell it for around $1500 and buy that one and put $500 into that 400 small block cuz stock I believe it is 265 HP stock and i want to have it around 400 HP treyb0 11-24-2007, 11:13 PM i just beat you all very very good condition chevy suburban 1997.
