If you have a clear coat car, this is the best way to restore the luster of your paint.
Supplies
Car wash
bucket
QUALITY was mit
microfiber towels
clay bar
clay bar lube
Meguiar's Step 1 (out of 3)
Meguiar's Step 2 (out of 3)
Meguiar's NXT generation wax (instead of step 3)
Applicator apparatus
After the car is washed and dried, use the Meguiar's first step which is a paint cleaner. It goes on and off just like wax.
Second, use the polish (step 2) and apply it same fashion as the cleaner. Then use the clay bar (see my prior post) and then after all that wax it. This will clean all the dead and oxidized paint off with the first 2 steps and reduce scratches. The clay bar will open all the pores in the paint and make it smooth as glass. Then the wax seals everything to keep the paint alive and rejuvinate the oils in the paint.
