Hey, when I try to play a CD it lets me play some of the tracks and then will say ERR and the CD will pop out. It is a burned CD but sometimes it lets me play them sometimes it doesn't. When I first bougt the car it did not do this. I did some research and it may be that the lens motor is bad so I think I will probably get a different radio. So my main question is the radio it currently has is a Delco (CD-AM/FM) like this one (see picture)but I am wondering if I could put one of the newer Bose RDS radios in its place.
Car info: 2001 chevy cavalier, 4dr sedan, 2.2L

hey there,
why dont you go on ebay and buy a radio for a good price and install instead of a oem radio or bose,aftermarket radios have a more crisp sound when used then stock types.plus you get more rms power and ur able to do further adjustments on eq's and sections like front and rear plus sub.just a thought and goodluck with what ever way you proceed with.
