1994 astro freeze plugs
#2
You know it is 14 yrs old.But before you replace the freeze plugs, you could really clean it and buy a dye kit with a black light to be sure that is what you are seeing.Intake manifold leaks are also common and could lead you to thinking it is a front plug.Water pump leaks are also near the front plugs.Really need to take off the air filter box and top shroud to get a decent look along with taking off the dog house. If you do find a plug leak,do all of the ones short of the ones at the back of the block.Might be a prime time to consider a block heater on the one of the front side ones for the winter. It is a nice accessory to have.As far as a easy way to get to them, like all the rest of freeze plugs on anything else, you just have to take it apart to be able to get to them, poke a hole in them, pry them out, then replace them using sealant. There is a freeze plug driver tool if you like to use,but a proper sized socket will work to drive them back in as well.
