I would at least drive it till the knock gets louder. Then if you are still happy with it, have the motor rebuilt or get a used one with low mileage if you can find one.

I found a used engine at local scrap yard for 400$ I think it has like 90000 miles on it I was thinking of buying it putting it in the garage and rebuilding it and then when this one dies just swap them out
cause the way I look at it I got maby 50 bucks in it at this point with the oil change cause the 300 I payed for it I can get that back at the scrap yard even if I totaled it so I don't really count that so what im trying to figure out is how much money should I put into it this would be my first astro van so im not sure even what its worth im a noob sorry for my stupid questions can post pictures later but it doesn't look like its a 14 year old car its in really really good shape besides the little engine problem I think I got a really good score here

All that counts is that it is in good shape and that you are happy with it.
