astro intermittent electrical prob. (not from rain)
1993 chevy astro. runs, starts o.k. after about 1/2 hour (same everytime) van loses speedometer and volt meter. runs bad. all else electrical works. 45 mins later van dies and drains battery. new alternator and VSS have solved nothing. van sits for an hour(?) and works just fine (after jump start). at one time it threw a dtc- 72. now the tester doesnt see the van anymore. starter or ignition switch?
