2007 Cobalt factory radio to a GMC truck?
I recently sold my factory stereo to a man who was going to install it to his GMC truck. Now, the man said that it looked exactly the same and he was able to connect it but, it wasn't able to power on.
After asking my dad about it, he told me that you usually have to take the stereo to the dealership so they can type in a code so the radio can start working again. I was wondering if maybe any of you guys have experienced this situation and if in fact it's true. Let me know!
