Default 01 avalanche z71 bad misfire

Just had a question for some of you more knowlegable guys.

I have a 2001 avalanche that has 150000 miles on the ODO. It has started having a serious issue with missing/knocking at idle and all through the RPM bad. after changing all the plugs/wire/coils I'm stumped. If you do drive it it doesn't seem to want to shift either. Its of course weak (as to be expected when it misses like this. Does anyone have a clue whats going on? Thanks in advance

Did you check the timing on the vehicle to see if that's off?

Sounds like the timing chain needs replacement.
