Default 2005 Avalanche P0449 Issue

I have a 2005 Chevy Avalanche with a check engine light. Checking the code it indicates P0449.

I have replaced the Evaporative Emission Canister Vent Solenoid Valve twice. First time I drove about 1700 miles before the check engine light came back on. Second time the check engine light did not go out. I reset it with my analyzer, but a few days later the check engine light was back on with code P0449.

I have having another issue with the Avalanche. I don't know if the problem is related, but when I go to start the vehicle if I just stick the key in the ignition and turn the key it will just crank and not start. If I attempt to start it again it usually fires right up. If I put the key in the ignition and turn it (but don't crank it) and let it set for about 15-30 seconds the vehicle will normally start right up.

I have tried to do as much research as possible, but have "hit a wall."

I was also wondering if the fuel vapor charcoal canister could be the problem. If so, where is this located? What is the part number? How difficult is it to replace?

I really appreciate any assistance.

Respectfully
