Unhappy blower motor not working

The blower motor on my 07 Avalanche just quit working? When I adjust the fan speed on the dual climate system the display shows I'm changing speeds but nothing is coming out. so what is the best educated guess the switch or the blower motor resistor? or something totally different??? it's just great that now that the weather is turning cold here now the heater quits... also not sure but isn't there a TSB or recall on this problem

Commonly the blower circuits gets power supply through a fuse to relay then fuse to motor, if your getting voltage to the motor then motor doesn't work at any speed then the trouble may be a stuck or bad motor. If you verify the motor is ok then the trouble is either with the fuse or relay or switch or the resistor pack.

OK,let me approach this problem a different way,I have a 07 avalanche LTZ it has dual climate & auto climate control, the fuses are good, the fan does not work at all,if there is power to the blower motor what would be the next logical cause, I've read blower motor resistor and blower motor control module is there a difference, which one would my truck have? any help help would be really appreciated, or should I just give up and go to the dealer.

Exclamation Blower motor not working

I recently had a 2005 Impala with the same problem. I tapped the motor and it ran but had stuck brushes. Resister assemblies seldom go bad.

Replace the motor.

Take a meter and check for power to the motor. If you have power and varied fan voltages at the plug to the motor then all is well in the dash and replace the motor.
Let me know how you do.
