Default DVD Problems

Newbie here. I just bought a 2007 Avalanche. I have never had a built in DVD player before, so I hope this is a simple problem. While the truck is in Park, I put a DVD on and it plays on the NAV in front and the overhead DVD in the back. As soon as I put the truck in drive, I get a message saying playback disabled while in drive. I understand the reason for not showing it on the NAV screen, but the rear DVD stops as well. How do I get a DVD to play in rear unit while I drive to keep the Grandkids happy? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Doug

Is the DVD player factory installed or was it installed afterwards? Is it a possible delay feature? Does the video start playing in the rear once you start driving?

I would like to run this by our technical team so I can assist you further with this issue. Could you please PM me your VIN number so I can proceed?

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me.

I look forward to your reply.
