I just bought a 2007 Chevy Avalanche that has Navigation and Dvd with RSE and I cant get the dvd screen in the back to come on and was wondering if anybody has had this issue and if so how do I fix it and also the dealer lost the remote and is currently looking for it so is there anyway to turn on the screen without using the remote??

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Do you know if the Parental Control is on? If the Parental Control is on, either a padlock icon or a text message will come on, depending on the radio. Please let me know if this is the issue. If not, I will look for other solutions.

I turned off the parental controls and still no picture on the screen in the back I have checked everything I can and still nothing and still haven't got the remote so I don't know what else to do

Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything else that could help. Did your dealership find your remote yet?
