Question New Member

Hello all, new member. Just bought a 2002 Avalanche 1500 4x4 over the weekend. Been in the family since new so I know it has been taken care of. 91k miles and just brought up from Texas so hasn't seen upper midwest salt and snow yet. Got it for $9000 with an extra set of rims and tires for it. Did I get as good a deal as I think I did?

First issue I have run into is last night I go to use the dome light using the dash brightness slide and when I turn off the dome light the dash lights don't come back. Played with the switch a bit but nothing.

Everything else is fine. I disabled the daytime running lights this morning using the dome light buttom (4 presses) to make sure that wasn't the problem and the radio display came back but when I turn on the lights manually they go out again.

My thought is the switch went bad or is there something else to look for? I've checked a couple fuses that seemed logical but all were good.

Thanks in advance for your reply!

Tom
