Arrow A little help/advice, please!

My 94 Camaro V6 (that's the 3.5L, before they started putting those woosey Buick motors in them) is sick. The transmission seems to be giving me a little trouble. It's lacking power in first gear but kicks hard in second (I know, I know...) but, also, there is trouble with putting it into park. No matter how hard I try, it will not engage the park lock. It's always in reverse when you place the shifter next to the "P". Any ideas folks?

Good call. Forgot to mention, yes I have an auto. Tried the Lucas already (I love that stuff). Main issue is how to adjust the cable?
