Parts Selling Price? & 383 Parts List Help! :)
Hello, my dad owns a 1968 SS nova, that currently has a 350.
He recently purchased a Eagle 383 kit.
Im selling some old camel back heads and i would like to know what the usually sell for these days. My dads had the heads for a while, there assembled, and he wants to sell then to complete this 383 !
The heads im looking to get are 64cc, so i have the compression i want.
So i have a few questions.
Question 1: A pretty good set of camel back 461 assembled, and whats the average selling price?
Question 2: Whats a good price for a camel back 462 assembled, whats the average selling price.
Question 3: Whats the average heads use for a 383? I've read good things about the Twisteds, AFR's, Brodix and Darts?
I heard the most efficient intake port size would be ~180cc? For a 383?
Question 4: Would the Crane 967601 cam 447/447 be enough for a 383?
This is all for my dad, most we already have the cam and such, im not to sure how well it will all cooperate though. Im a ford guy, and i know for the 347, if things dont match its a **** show! Thanks!

I recently sold a set of 1962 461 heads with 1.94 valves for $300 to a friend. They hadn't been run in 30yrs since they had been reconditioned and there was on external bolt boss that was chipped. If yours are ready to run you should be able to get at least $450. Depending on the date you might get more.
There are usually guys her looking for those heads.
