New Guy With 89 Caprice
Just bought an almost mint 89 Caprice with just over 54,000 (88,000 kilometres) documented miles on it. Been watching this car for months and always hoped for a For Sale sign on it but never did. So I left a note on the windshield and it became mine. Paid $1000 for it and had it checked out by my mechanic. Rotors, possibly callipers, new headliner and rear window leaks.
This is the newest car I have ever owned and as the Malibu was almost finished it was time for a new one.

Brakes may or may not need anything more than pads . Visually inspected .
Headliner & window leak ? I had a pro put the headliner in our 91 Caprice . About $ 135 . Window leak ? Inspect all the weather stripping / moldings / seals .
Then 91 was Mom's & Dad's . 46,000 + miles . But it has been parked much of the time & the sun light has not been kind to the interior & paint . :-(
