Default 2002 cavalier transmission not happy

My 2002 will only move once the rpm get up to about 3000. All gears. No dipstick I removed bolt on tranny from under car facing passenger side and fluid did come out. Car has 221,000 miles. Have drained and changed filter four times in its life. Still looked clean. Is it shot?

My Wife crashed her 2004 Cavalier. It had about 120k miles on it. I decided not to repair it. You can come and get the transmission for $100, it was working perfectly before she hit a concrete pole. You can use my tools (no need to bring anything) but you need to do the wrenching.

Thanks for the offer. But im in texas. Found one online for 450 bucks, engines for 850 with 12,000 mile warranty. I may try to rebuild this if I can get some good research. Sounds like fun.

Nice torque converter stall. You should work for Precision Industries.

For 450 bucks you can have the engine with transmission. Texas is not that far from Louisiana.
