Default 2005 Cavalier Base/Sport Overheating and Electrical Question

Hi I own 2005 Chevy Cavalier Base/Sport
I really love my car it wasn't any problem with that till this winter. when it's idle it's going overheat. when I took it to shop they said everything is fine we don't see any problem, anyway I spend 500 and they changed Thermostat and Flushed Radiator, it's still going overheat but only when A/C is off, or if I put fan speed to 1-2 on 3-4 it's working perfect. any suggestion ?

and one more electrical question.
I bought LED strips, and would like to put it between headlamps and bumper, but I'm not sure how I should connect it? I would like to do something so when I'll turn my headlights on, Led come on too.
P.S sorry for my bad English ) I'm just 11 months in USA so it's not fluent )
Thank you very much )

Welcome to the forum. I'm not a fan of "LED strips" and thus I won't comment on that. Now, you spent $500 on a thermostat replacement and coolant flush and fill service? I don't know how it is in Cincinnati but we don't tolerate that kind of robbery around here. It sounds like your problem is with the cooling fan not running when it should. You need a Tech 2 scan tool to diagnose problems like that. Consider taking it in to a dealership service department.

I would agree with EinSt on taking the vehicle into a dealer for proper diagnosis. I hope that helps with your coolant issues. Unfortunately I can't comment on your aftermarket additions. I hope you get it all working.
