Default 93' Cavalier RS 3.1 fuel leak

Hello, just learning the basics here and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on this job. I recently acquired a nice 93' Cavalier with the 3.1 V6 from my dad who recently passed back in October. Fast forward to today (03-04-2014) I take the car for a ride, the first since November and notice the rubber line (return line I believe its called) leading into the engine has a small leak. The rubberize part that is leaking is only about 8 inches long and come from a rusty metal line that I'm afraid of breaking. Is this a part Napa would have in stock or am I going to be forced to take it to a mechanic. I'd really like to learn how to work on my own stuff and I think this would be a great starting point but like I said that metal line makes me nervous.

I know the description was vague but any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks..

Andy

I;m not even going to try to touch this one with a 10ft pole.

Post some pics.

hard to believe the line at where you say it is connected to rubber is rusted and falling apart - isn't that in the engine bay? I could understand if under the body or fuel filter area was rusted away and falling apart...
