I have a 1998 Cavalier Z24 and I am looking to add some sound to her. I have been researching the best exhaust systems you can get for a low price. However, I was curious if the sound would be the same if I just bought a performance muffler rather than the whole exhaust and if a Megan Racing exhaust tip was a good choice for this model.

You will get what you pay for putting money into a good system will definitely make a difference. It run a pipe delete the catalyst and put in a manga flow. Not just a tip but a whole system. And upgrade the air intake it will also help
