Question Cavalier engine mounts

Hi, 1999 Chevy Cavalier: (A repost in the Cavalier section)

This car has developed engine vibration again.
The upper mount R. H. has been changed twice.
The lower mount, the "dog bone", has been changed 4 times.

It seems common wisdom among mechanics is that the L.H. mount, the Transmission mount, need never be changed.
It is still the original mount after 11 years and 150,000 mi.
In various diagrams and images I see that a pin from the transmission support goes into a rubber suspended hole in the the trans mount.

1. Should I try to get my mechanic to change all 3 mounts?

Another issue is whether after market parts use in inferior rubber that degrades, or turns mushy from heat.
2. Do you know of an an aftermarket brand that is better than most?
