Default checking for spark 2.2l ohc ecotec

Just out of curiosity how do you test if the coil pack and spark plugs are firing properly on the engine with no plug wires and the coil over plug module? Would appreciate any advice.

its not easy.

the dealer use a specialty tool which is essentially long spark plugs wires that allow you to remove the ign module assembly, set it on the vave cover and connect to it with a spark tester.

for $150 they have hand held cop testers.

windshield washer tubing is conductive. you could try cutting 4 lengths of tubing and attach your spark tester to the one plug end. connect the other 3 ends to the module plugs and then to grd.

remember, any metal the tubing touches will cause the spark to grd there.

Thank you tech 2 for your information. I know where to start now should I try to test it.
