im looking at a cavalier today, anyone ever heard of this engine swap ?

First not be negative but are you sure is it even going to fit. second you would have to modify your wiring harness

I bought the car with engine installed already

I researched this swap, and Gm devision over in Brazil, and UK, have these lotus engines in them

kind of like a JDM version for N.A. built toyotas

now the only problem I have is idk what lotus engine is in it ;so if I need parts, I have to remove and bring in parts to match them up

you are welcome I did not know that gm had a hand in lotus. Try and look for your closes lotus dealer they might be able to tell you what you have.

Im up in the great white north, (Canada)............

not very many lotus dealers up here, closest one is 4 hrs drive away, and the next one, is a half a country away .........

yup, Van., Montreal, and Toronto r the only ones up here,

I am 4 hrs drive from Van, I live in the okanagan
