Tape player availability/options?
Hi, I have a 1985 chevy cavalier, and I really love it unfortunetly it only has AM radio, I was wondering if its possible to hook up/insert a tape player somehow into it for a few more musical options. Does anyone know if this is possible or have done it themselves/ know how much it would cost?

Yes it can be done. Today you should hook up a CD player instead of a tape player as CD's are more readily available than tapes. The cost would be up to you. How much do you want to spend. There are players in all cost ranges. Get one that would fit in the space of the old AM radio. Wiring it up is not difficult and they make adapter plugs for most cars. Do some checking on the internet.

I don't even know where to begin on this post.
1985 cav 4 cylinder with AM only? And you love the car?? wow.
As oldchevy said - adapter kits are available - and if it's not the right size- there should be a face-plate available to cover the size difference.
How many miles on the 85? rust free? Do you have the 3 color taillights (white/red/yellow)?
If you have AM you probably only have manual windows.. DAM!
