Default 1976 c-10

Alright, so I have a 1976 C-10 and I am having an issue. I have noticed a load ticking sound coming form the passenger side valve cover. I have adjusted the rocker arms and the noise persists. I am not sure what it is. Under load the noise is constant and I can hear it over the exhaust. I cannot hear the noise when at ide until I rev the motor. I am not sure what it could be and I am hoping someone can help.

as far as I understand (I didn't rebuild the motor) they are flat tappet lifters
