I had this problem last year. I hit a rather deep pothole and my transmission fluid began rolling out all over the road! It was a nightmare, to say the least. I had it towed to the dealership and they replaced the screw that was ripped out as well as the attachments to the pan. All in all, it set me back ~$550. Hope this helps.

memoreno1, have you had your vehicle checked out by your dealership yet? They would be able to tell you exactly what happened to your vehicle. I hope this helps you and if you need further assistance feel free to contact me.
