Default check engine light

bought a K& N cold air intake kit. After installing it the engine light came on. Read the code and says fuel to rich, does anyone know how to correct this.

i am getting the engine light also took it to auto zone n got p0449code which is purge/vent solenoid i dont know where that is located con anyone help

its either on the intake manifold or on the carcoal canister try getting a chilton manuel and look it up

It is pretty easy to get to it is just forward of the spare tire, get the hummer part it is the same but more than half the Colorado part. I know a person who just wired in a 194 licence plate light bulb in parallel and he says the cel is fixed. Just saying

the purge solenoid and vent solenoid are 2 completely different parts


and wiring in a 194 bulb would have nothing to do with an evap leak code
