2014 Cruze Reduced Engine Power
I have a 2014 Cruze that just developed a Reduced Engine Power, service Stabilitrak and service traction control problem. Reading up on it on the internet this seems to be a major problem with this car, even the tow truck driver that just brought the car back to my house said he's seen this problem alot. What gives, shouldn't there be a recall for this issue?

Had the same problem
Believe it or not GM considers this a safety feature. Their argument is would you rather accelerate out of control or decelerate to glide to a safe spot. Nevermind the fact that if you are going 65-70 miles on the highway and suddenly lose engine power chances are you are getting rear ended by someone doing 65-70 mph or faster. These are highly paid and dare I say educated engineers designing these cars. Apparently common sense is not a job requirement

Iowa man,
Yes you should contact your dealer..to either fix it if its under warranty or extended warranty. Any p code needs to be addressed as quick as you can if not the same day the code is discovered. If you don't , it can cause you a lot of misery and even more.. money!
