So over the past winter I built my first motor which was a 305 to race at the local circle track. This coming winter I want to move up a division which requires a 350. The only thing I can think of that I will need besides the block, is a set of pistons and possibly heads to comply with compression rules. Can anybody help me out with some key differences between the two motors, and maybe a list of parts that are NOT interchangeable between the two? Thanks for any tips and your time, Frank Jr.

Does the racing class require any particular parts to match the vehicle of choice? Example, my sister ran oval and the heads and block & internals had to match the year of car she ran.

If I remember Right the only thing that won't swap is the crank, rod and, pistons. Bout the only difference is the cyl wall size by .260
