Hey everyone. Now I know 305 heads will work on a 350 if you grind the compression chamber out with a die grinder and everything. Will 350 heads work on a 305. I know they'll bolt right up. But will they actually work. Any downsides or upsides? Feel kinda dumb asking this question, but I wanna know. Thanks.
I am not sure if the TBIs used the same head and intake manifold mating surface angles as 1986 & earlier, Gary can probably tell you that. Mortec has numerous numbers for castings of the Chevy V8s. For as Gary mentioned, need the numbers off your rig.

Hi new here on the site. i really dont know what im doing but., i just have a coupple of questions.

I have a 86 Chevy C10 with a 350. it has some work done to it like cam, intake, msd 6al box and some other little things. i was just woundering how hard will it be to put vortec heads on it and how much do you think it will cost?
